Holiday Letting Terms and Conditions

      Payment:

• Bookings with Beds by the Beach Holiday Rentals are secured by a 25% deposit of the total rent.  This payment is required over the phone with credit card.
• The balance owing may be paid by credit card, bank transfer or cash on arrival.
• Check in will not be permitted until full payment is received

      Cancellation:

• Cancellations must be made in writing by the person who made the booking. 
• If booking is cancelled 2 months or more prior to commencement, then your deposit (less a booking fee of $50.00) will be refunded in full.
• If your booking is cancelled less than 2 months prior to commencement, then refund of your payment is subject to a confirmed re-booking of the property (less a cancellation fee of $100.00).

      Changes:

• This booking is made in good faith and maybe subject to change. We are not able to accept responsibility for action taken by property owners of the premises which are outside our control, however if the property you have selected becomes unavailable, we will do our very best for you to find alternative accommodation.
• In the event that the property is offered for sale, the tenant agrees to allow the owner or agent to inspect the property with the prospective purchasers, by appointment and during reasonable hours.
• Tariffs are subject to change with out notice.
• The description of the premises is given in good faith; we do not misrepresent properties.

      Non Smoking:

• For the comfort of all our guests our properties are non-smoking.

      Animals and Pets:  

• Most of our properties do not permit animals on or in the property.
• Where a property does permit a pet, it is to remain strictly outside at all times.
• Beds by the Beach is not a registered pet friendly organisation, and takes no responsibility for pet safety or pets escaping.  It is the pet owners responsibility to ensure their pets security, and we will not be responsible for the effectiveness of gates or fences for your pet.  It is recommended that properties be viewed by the tenant before booking, because if a property is not suitable for your pet no refund or monies towards expenses will be offered.       
     

      Garbage Removal:

• Sunday night the garbage bin needs to be put out for collection

      Noise:

• Noise/Functions- Excessive noise and functions are not permitted as they can cause disruption to neighbours.
• A security company may be called to investigate complaints of excessive noise or anti-social behaviour which will incur to the Tenant a call out charge of $200.
• After one warning guests may be evicted from the premises by security.

         
      Damages and Extra Cleaning:

• Any breakages or any other damage to property or the loss of items from the property must be paid for by the occupants and in the event of this happening, the occupant must report such breakages or loss as soon as possible to us and of course we ask that you kindly leave the property as you found it, including the washing of dishes and removal of rubbish and the cleaning of the barbeque, and all this will avoid extra cleaning charges.  
• Any charges applicable for the above will be charged to your credit card.
• Loss of keys attracts a $50 charge and a $25 call out fee if they are misplaced.

     Upon check out and exiting a property

• It is the tenant’s responsibility to lock and secure the property they have been letting on exiting, and failure to do so will in cure a $100 security call out fee. They will also be responsible for any damage or theft to the property as a result of it not being locked and secured on their departure.

      Personal Property:

• No responsibility will be taken for the guest’s personal property, so please take care.

At Beds by the Beach Holiday Rentals we strive to develop up to date services to better serve you our customers and we recognize that privacy is an important issue and we operate our services bearing this in mind to protect your privacy and when you identify yourself with your name, your address, your email address or credit card facilities, those issues are held by us and only us on a strict policy of care of protecting your privacy.
